Dear Family & Friends
Day 1:
Most of our day was spent traveling, and we traveled through the airport smoothly. Our students are getting to know other team members and help our new student, Alec, acclimate to the CCA Junior Class.
After the buffet dinner, our students were given an update as to what they would be doing tonight at CCA Merida’s church service. The Drama Team performed a drama upon arrival, the Music/Dance team led worship for two special songs, and one of our students shared the gospel and a word of encouragement.
Please note that we will have full days, and our outreach schedules have been strategically designed by the Mission Teams here to give our students the opportunities to use their talents to share the message of Christ’s Love.
We will perform dances and dramas at the County-State Fairs in Merida, Tizimin, and San Felipe, and we will use those performances as a platform to share Christ. Please keep us in your prayers. We will not have much time for rehearsal, so most of our rehearsals will happen tonight and tomorrow morning.
Lastly, our VBS and Sports team will participate in Sport Tournaments/Outreaches in many villages. The VBS team will show presentations daily up to 9pm on most nights. We need supernatural energy and love, and to be united through the grace we ourselves have received.
